Are your grout lines looking a little darker in some areas, and lighter in others?

Have you crawled around your floor with a scrub brush and an acidic cleaner in an attempt to return your tile and grout to its original color, and only made a small improvement (and wasted a Saturday)?

Longshore Services can help! Our truck-mounted cleaning equipment gives us a clear advantage (250 degree water, 1,000 p.s.i. of rinsing power).

Here’s How Our Three-Step Process Works:

  1. Alkaline Cleansing: We apply a high alkaline cleanser to your tile/stone surface and scrub every inch of surface area. We then utilize our truck mounted cleaning equipment to simultaneously rinse, and extract the soiled solution. We extract, or “vacuum”, the dirty water to a waste tank in our truck. This removes all of the soiled water from the grout lines, which is impossible to do with traditional mopping/scrubbing maintenance cleaning.
  2. Acid Etching: Certain deeper stains may not be successfully removed with the alkaline cleansing. In these areas, we can apply a highly acidic agent to etch the grout lines. The etching process is more aggressive and helps us to remove most stubborn stains. We then rinse and extract the soiled solution from the surface (see step 1.).*
  3. Sealing: We apply a sealer to the area being cleaned. This sealer impregnates the surface (i.e. fills in voids in grout lines or stone surfaces) and helps to prevent future spills, etc. from deeply staining the surfaces.

Consumer demand for ceramic tile and natural stone surfaces continues to grow!

If you have made the choice to invest in a ceramic tile, or natural stone surface in your home, you have probably made a significant long-term investment.

Protect that investment with proper maintenance!
